About the Company
Talema is a global manufacturer of magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and chokes. Founded in 1975, the company has built a strong position as a leading player in its field, with a particular focus on custom-designed solutions. Today, tailored products make up the majority of Talema’s deliveries, and the company’s components are used in a wide range of applications – from telecommunications and industrial automation to medical technology, renewable energy, and the transportation sector.
Talema is part of KAMIC Group, a Swedish technology and trading group comprising several niche companies worldwide. Within KAMIC, Talema operates as part of the KAMIC Magnetics business area, together with its sister companies ETAL and SIGA. Together, they form a strong global player in the development and manufacture of magnetic components and solutions. Being part of Talema means working in an international environment where technology, quality, and customer focus are at the core. Here, the entrepreneurial spirit of a specialist company is combined with the strength and stability of a global group.
At Asta Agency, we are partnering with Talema in this recruitment process. We are looking for a Junior Product Specialist in Germany that will work in Brensbach. The process is managed by Asta, and you will be employed directly by Talema.
About the Position
In this role, you support daily manufacturing operations by ensuring that products are produced in line with technical requirements, quality standards, and production targets. You provide hands-on technical support related to products, processes, equipment, testing, and quality, and act as a key technical resource for the production organization.
You are responsible for introducing new products into production, including preparing and maintaining manufacturing and process documentation, developing methods of operation, and supporting the transition from development to serial production. The role also includes training production personnel in the correct and safe use of equipment.
Furthermore, you actively identify and drive technical improvements to manufacturing processes with the aim of increasing productivity and efficiency. You continuously build technical competence, particularly within the design of inductive components, and perform additional tasks as assigned by your direct supervisor.
This position offers a strong opportunity to grow into the role. You are not expected to have full product knowledge from day one. You will be given the opportunity to learn the products in depth and gradually develop your competence across the entire product and delivery lifecycle, supported by experienced colleagues.
Your main responsibilities include:
Technical support of daily manufacturing, including products, processes, equipment, testing, and quality.
Introduction of new products into production, including documentation, methods, and operator training.
Development, improvement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes and production documentation.
Identification and implementation of technical improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Ongoing development of technical competence, particularly in the design of inductive components, and other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications and Quaractaristics
To succeed in this role, you bring a genuine technical interest and a solution-oriented mindset, along with the ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues to move work forward. You are involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, which requires strong communication skills and the ability to balance technical details with business value. As a team player, you are proactive, well organised, and quality- and safety-minded, with a hands-on attitude and a strong eagerness to learn more about magnetic components and manufacturing. You combine practical thinking with solid technical curiosity and a collaborative approach, enjoying close involvement with products, processes, and people while communicating clearly across teams.
In addition, we are looking for someone who has:
Higher education or previous experience within a technical field.
Previous experience in engineering or technician roles, for example production-, test-, or maintenance roles.
Fluent in English and German.
